Indications/Uses
Controls cough. Helps clear chest congestion.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr 10 mL. Childn 6-11 yr 5 mL. To be taken 6-8 hrly. Max: 4 doses/24 hr.
Contraindications
Do not exceed recommended dosage. Concurrent use or for 2 wk after stopping MAOI, SSRI or other medications for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions & Parkinson's disease. Childn <6 yr.
Special Precautions
Persistent cough for >1 wk, recurrent or accompanied w/ fever, rash or persistent headache. Chronic cough associated w/ smoking or chronic lung disease eg, asthma or emphysema. In case of accidental overdose, discontinue use & seek professional help immediately. Pregnancy & lactation.
